Instructions for Cutting / Pasting

Both MS Word and Wordperfect have the same procedure for cutting and pasting. Once you save the file to your hard drive and "pull it up" into your word processor, you'll simply go through the workbook answering the questions.

You'll be returning the testing materials, learning contract, and course evaluation.

To copy the materials, place the cursor at the very beginning of the page(s) you want to copy. Press and hold the LEFT mouse button. While holding the LEFT mouse button, move the mouse to the END of the page(s) you're trying to copy. When you have the cursor at the right spot, release the mouse button. The area you just "blocked" should remain shaded.

PDF USERS- Click on the "Text Select" tool on the menu bar (it looks like a "T"). Once you have this tool, you can block the required pages and copy/paste into an email.

Next bring your cursor up to the menu bar at the top of your screen, and click the EDIT bar. Scroll down and click on COPY. The material is now saved in memory and ready to be pasted into an email.

Next open your internet browser (i.e. netscape, explorer, AOL) and prepare an email to go to richard.laban@comcast.net (you can copy/paste this right into the email if you wish)

In the body of the email where you'd generally write your letter, PASTE the copied materials. You can do this by pressing CNTRL-V (pressing the control button and the letter "V"), OR you may have the option at the top of your email to PASTE as well.
