Explanation for Supplemental Reading

Effective April, 2007, NBCC released new guidelines for distance learning providers; specifically a minimum word limit. In order to maintain compliance, Laban's Trainings developed a supplement to each order that is required for NBCC counselors only.

This supplemental material is provided to NBCC counselor's only at no additional charge in order to maintain compliance with NBCC distance learning standards. The material in this supplement is most likely NOT related to the material your ordered. The material was chosen after discussions with NBCC as to what material might be universally helpful to a diverse population of professional counselors.

The material used in this supplement is considered public domain and is not part of the fee paid to Laban's Trainings. Because this supplemental material is copied from part of a TIP manual (see below), the page numbers reflect their location in the complete manual.
