PURPOSE OF PRESENTATION:
This workbook focuses on the importance of clinical supervision as a critical
component in counselor development across the professional life span. Models of
supervision, with an emphasis on David Powell's model, are identified and
followed by a look at resistance in supervision and on supervision techniques.
COURSE CONTENT AND DESCRIPTION:
The purpose of this training is to explore the importance, meaning, and
application of these emerging clinical supervision principles, techniques, and
methods. Both individual and group counseling constructs are taken into
consideration. The reader will read and complete all of the workbook
requirements and tasks. The workbook is fashioned in such a way that questions
necessary to pass the post test are imbedded within the training content. This
